I have filmed a person against a white backround. In After Effects (Mac - CS4) I checked so that the backround color value is white (255, 255, 255).
But when I render the movie as a flv-film and then insert the film on a webpage, the backround in my exported move is slightly darker then the white backround of the webpage. (I inserted the flv film using Dreamweaver and it's function). Any tips what to do?
When I exproted the movie I had color management turned off. The difference between the webpage backround and the movie is very tiny, but still anoying. Im using a calibrated monitor and browsed the webpage using Firefox 3 on mac.
Any help is highly apreciated.
Minute color shifts are normal with compressed formats, as each of the blocks may be quantized to a different color and some compression methods limit the available dynamic range from the start as well. There's not really much you can do about it. If the FLV is part of your page design and runs in an invisible SWF, use the Alpha channel to let the page background shine through....
