I actually have the same problem: I need to convert a RoboHelp Word project to RoboHelp HTML. It is indeed possible to import the RoboHelp Word project as you said, but none of the crucial features are preserved in RoboHelp HTML, i.e. the conditional build tags are gone, the styles are gone, only the first topic of the word document is regarded as a topic,... Another thing; the RoboHelp indications in the titles of the RoboHelp Word project are transferred to the RoboHelp HTML project as a few lines of useless text in the beginning of each topic.
So does anybody know how to convert a RoboHelp Word project (.hpj) to a RoboHelp HTML project (.xpj) without having to recreate all conditional build tags, styles, topics, numbered lists,... ? Are there any specific settings I should pay attention to when importing the project, to be able to preserve all these features?
What happens if you create WinHelp output from your project, then use the HLP as the source to create the new project in RoboHelp HTML?
I can see where Conditional Build Tags wouldn't survive the trip but the topics should. You might also experiment with creating a CHM from RoboHelp for Word and using the CHM as the source for the new project.
