The default html template in flex has a single object/embed tag inside the body tag. Specifying 100% in the object tag (we're talking firefox so its embed tag) stretches to the full screen in the browser.
Where is this bug showing up?
The problem is that firefox browsers don't support percentage based heights. See...
If you set everything to 100% in your wrapper and set your app to 100% in the code it works fine (ie resizes) in every browser except firefox. It's not working correctly in firefox 3.5 either.
This is a simple Hello World app with the default Halo Theme. The turquoise background with gradient stretches up and down to all browser sizes. I'm looking at it with FireFox 3011 on XP.
Where is the problem?
If you change the wrapper to be a jsp rather than html, the page doesn't take up 100% of the height in Firefox when it loads (or resizes). It does in every other browser but not FF.
Yeah, right. You gonna make me put a jsp up there now?
The browser doesn't care about jsp. It processess the html/text stream to render a web page.
Do a Page Source and save the html file. Your problem is in there.
