If I have this right, it goes like this:
The AsDoc task reads source files to create a set of html files. It is not responsible for editor behaviour in the FlexBuilder. I think you are looking for code completion in the Eclipse editor.
you are right,,, do you know how to do with the setting in Flex Builder 3? Or i have to install a component from Eclipse? Could you tell me some more hints?
it more less about the editor, When i type /** then the editor should know i want to insert my comment then it automatically generates a full list of params ,and @return. It should work with class member as well. I saw it worked perfecttly in Net Bean
It doesn't look like FlexBuilder will give you access to the toolbar commands and keyboard shortcuts. The closest I can see is
Window > Preferences > General > Keys
Can i ask if you know how to resolve the problem of including .svn folder when i tried to generate documetnation with "-doc-sources" option.
So the command is:
asdoc -source-path- ./src -doc.sources . -library-path ./libs
I saw it started to generate document but then there is error:
1. A file not have the same structure in source path (i saw it point to a file in .svn folder)
2. Not found definition of class (the class from mx,,such as UIComponent, Text,...)
Could you point me a workaround?
Thank you for your help
More info on the plugin herel:
You can use the built-in install/update mechanism in FlexBuilder/Eclipse with the following url:
I haven't used SVN with FlexBuilder but I know .svn folders are supposed to be hidden. They contain data relevent to svn only.
If you are using (old) FAT32 file system on windows, you will see the folders wide open.
I export a clean build out of svn then run the ASdoc.
what's about the base class not found (mx.core.Application, TextArea,,,,)? I googled saw people getting the same problem, but there is no workaround in general for flex.
I found a workaround by adding to -source-path the framework path.
I got document generated. But it generated all classes in the famework as well. Really don't know why? Any clues ?
Below is my command line:
asdoc -source-path ./src "famework path" -doc-sources ./src -library-path ./libs
Note: framework as a folder src as well,, and i was thinking because of the same name ".src" but after i changed it,,the ASdoc still generated API of flex framework.
Thank you for your anwser.
Don't point to the framework source files (.as) but to the framework .swc files.
And you might wanna start a new topic next time, as this has nothing to do with the original question.
