is it possible to "ask" a (threaded) textframe if it is "full"? So that no more SpecialCharacters.COLUMN_BREAK is needed to move the cursor to the next threaded frame?
I want to divide text from XML into different threaded textframes so that text from tag A is in textframe1 and text from tag B is in textframe2.
So I add a column break after paragraph A. The problem is that you get an empty textframe2 if textframe1 is "full" (the column break is shifted to textframe2 and the text from tag B is in textframe3).
Alternatively, you could apply "Start Paragraph: In Next Column" to the first paragraph to appear in the next column.
I agree with you: to set startParagraph of the following text seems to be the better way.
