Generate files - memory (not at local disks)

    vicenteserra

      Hello,
I'm new at this forum and I really need some help over here...

I am generating an array of bytes and I need to let the user download the file created by this (a pdf file).
But I cant let the file at the server, so I was thinking about load it in memory so the user would be able to download the file without need to use the server....
Somebody know how could I do that??

      Thanks!

You could use AlivePDF in order to generate PDFs files within a Flex

          App.

          Sincerely,

          Michael

Thanks for your fast answer Michael!

Yes, thats would be the best way, but the only problem is that I have all that done with iReport and its working well.

With the alivePDF I would have to do all the implementation again!

If theres any other way it would be great.

Any other ideas would be welcome...

            Thanks again!

You're welcome, you could embed a file using a class and the

metatag. I think you could do the same using PDF but I've never done it.

              Sincerely,

              Michael
