I am working in Word 2007, and have not yet received Adobe Acrobat. When I published a PDF (using Save As and selecting PDF), the PDF was created. However, out of 9 figures in the file, only 3 display in the PDF (the figure captions are there, just not the figures). Because I do not have Acrobat installed yet, I cannot create a PRN file, then distill a PDF. I've never seen this phenomenon before, and I'm unsure as to why some of the figures are not displaying. I inherited the file, and the figures are UML-oriented. We can resnap the screenshots/drawings, but why do three out of 9 display, and they were snapped the same way as the 6 that do not display? Thanks for your help.
It is a problem with Microsofts PDF creator. Nothing we, Acrobat or Reader can do about that.
Well, this is the answer I was expecting. I wish there was something specific I could do within Word to get the figures to display. Thanks for your insight and confirmation of my suspicions.
