Highlighting Toggle!

I'm sure I'm not the only one the HATES, HATES, HATES that the default is for highlighting to be on for alternate glyphs, tracking, kerning, and etc. Burying this "feature" in preferences is NOT convenient. I can certainly see times when I want to see this visual reminder of these instances, but I don't want that to be the default, ever. What a pain. You guys are so awesome for thinking of providing this--it really is helpful when it's needed.

But could you give us a toggle to turn it on and off from the toolbar or another palette. Er, panel?

Please? Thanks. I absolutely LOVE CS4 though. Love it!

Scroll down to the next message to download Anne-Marie's ready-to-run script (and, in case this is a first for you, how to install it). Run the script by double-clicking it in the Script panel, or assign it a hotkey with the Keyboard Shortcut Editor.
