    Rules for mixing Halo and Spark components

      Is there an explanation of rules regarding mixing Halo and Spark components.  I've come across one issue where the mx:Wipedown effect generates a runtime error on a Spark component. The error is "addChild() is not available in this class. Instead, use addElement() or modify the skin, if you have one."

      <fx:Declarations>
          <mx:WipeDown id="wipedown" target="{junk}" />
      </fx:Declarations>

      <s:Group id="junk" width="200" height="200" x="40" y="40">
          <s:Rect left="0" right="0" top="0" bottom="0">
              <s:fill>
                  <mx:SolidColor color="#ff0000" />
              </s:fill>
          </s:Rect>
      </s:Group>

      I assume that the requiring addElement vs. addChild will cause other problems.
