a flash file can't be embedded in an xml file. what do you mean by that statement?
I mean the same way you would add it to a plain html file. It does work (with other files within the same directory that is):
var so = new SWFObject("/flash/gallery.swf", "gallery", "700", "220", "8", "#FFFFFF");
I'm not sure if you're understanding my question, but that's in the xml file and is the only flash call in the file. And like I said, it works with any flash file except for the one that it doesn't!
what do you do with that xml file? is it loaded and parsed by a swf file?
My web site is xml based (asp.net). The site's content is all maintained through xml files. The xml files will parse any html.
all the paths used in your swf will be relative to the html file that embeds it. so, if your swf loads items the correct paths must be used. that path depends not on the location of the swf but, on the location of the html file.
if that doesn't help you solve your problem, what's your url?
