    flashbuilder crossdomain issue - content type

      Hello --

      This is an issue that never came up in work with flexbuilder2/3 ..

      New projects in both CF and PHP work fine on the development machine. However, if I try to run the project from another machine, I get s SSB error.

      I have a very wide crossdomain policy set:

      <?xml version="1.0"?>
      <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM
      "http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
      <cross-domain-policy>
          <site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="all"/>
          <allow-access-from domain="*" ports = "*" secure="false"/>
          <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*" secure="false"/>
      </cross-domain-policy>

      However, when I look in the flash logs I see that that the crossdomain.xml file headers were not able to be read, and thus it does not grant permission.

      If I simply load the xml file, I see the appropriate header:

      HTTP/1.1 200 OK
      Date: Fri, 10 Jul 2009 20:29:37 GMT
      Server: Apache/2.0.59 (Unix) PHP/5.2.6 DAV/2
      Last-Modified: Fri, 10 Jul 2009 19:44:31 GMT
      ETag: "2dd1a94-15f-337385c0"
      Accept-Ranges: bytes
      Content-Length: 351
      Content-Type: application/xml

      Why are the headers not being read by the flash player? Am I doing something obviously wrong?

      Any help GREATLY appreciated.
