I am trying to incorporate computer screen capture in a pragram I am working on so the guest can show accessing various data bases. I tried CamStudio but it does not have enough resolution for a tv screen. I see the best program, whose name I forgot, is $300, ouch.
Any other suggstions.
That would likely be Adobe's Captivate.
It looks like Adobe's Captivate.4 is $799 form Adobe. I think the program I saw was Camtasia Studio at $299. I see it has a 30 day trial, I might try it for this project. I know I am dealing with a low res source.
Am I trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? Is it possible?
Camtasia gets very high marks. The one limitation is with the TechSmith CODEC's and editing. It has some rudimentary editing capabilities built-in, though this ARTICLE will give you some great tips.
