So I'm developing a journey across a map that is larger than
the screen. The character walks across the map and the map scrolls
when the character gets to the edge to show new bits of map. Dotted
all over the map are 'place' sprites that detect whether the
character is within a certain proximity.
My question is what is the most efficient way to move the map
and the place sprites and their associated scripts. Do I put the
whole lot (map, places and scripts) into a film loop or do a
sendSprites message to the place sprites with the movement info? Or
is there a much more efficient way to do this?
