I cannot reproduce the problem but have you tried expanding or rasterising the gradient before saving svg?
I have an AI file and when i convert it into an SVG the file comes out bad. There is a radial gradient applied to the ai file and it converts into a SVG the radial gradient comes out at the top hiding all the other objects beneath it. is this got to do with the way the AI file is constructed?
any comments on this will be really helpful..thanks a lot.
It would be helpful if you posted a screen shot of both the ai file and the svg file please use the camera icon in the tool bar of the message text window
instead of attaching the screen shot.
well if all else fails why not open the svg file in Illustrator select the gradient send it to the back and make certain the basketball is still set to Multiply
and resave it as an svg.
See if that works.
Had quite the same porblem while I was workint at my website.
I've seen that Adobe Illustrator has some kind of exporting option in SVG, but it's not fully compatible with my browsers.
