1. Re: Can't burn DVDs anymore
Neil Wilkes Jul 17, 2009 6:16 AM (in response to director.lionel)What new software has been installed on your system between the last time you could successfully burn a DVD and the first time that you discovered that you could no longer do so?
Sorry to say this, but these events don't occur in a vacuum - they have a cause, and it's usually software related.
There's a list in the FAQ section (that I really must update) that might be of some help at

Bill Hunt Jul 17, 2009 3:55 PM (in response to director.lionel)This ARTICLE might give some tips and suggestions.
Also, how does this Project differ from the ones that worked? How do the Asset differ? How are the Assets residing on the Timeline - any gaps in the Video. Is one Audio a bit longer than the Video, and I mean by ANY amount?
Good luck,
Hunt

director.lionel Jul 18, 2009 1:36 AM (in response to Neil Wilkes)Hi Neil,
Thanks for the input. You're right it didn't occur in a vacuum. Turns out
when I changed the audio from dolby digital to pcm in the advanced settings,
for some reason that created the problem. Changed it back to dolby digital,
and it seems to be working fine now.

Bill Hunt Jul 19, 2009 5:41 PM (in response to director.lionel)Glad that you got it sorted out and are back to authoring and burning. Thanks for reporting too.
As all of my Projects are AC3 DD 5.1 SS, with optional DTS on some, I would never have even thought that this could be an issue.
I hope that Neil, or Jbowden will weigh-in with their observations on the PCM/WAV issue in your case.
Hunt
