I am sorry, may be my question has been asked again and again, but here is my problem.
I have designed a filter which is pretty big and complex.
When I test it in the toolkit, it runs at about 25 fps which is enough for me.
I have an accelerated GPU.
When I include it in my flash app it runs at about 3 fps on the same computer.
I run in a standalone debug player (no browser) in full screen.
The filter alters a full screen FLV video (1920x1080).
I read some article dealing with GPU or not for the Flash player.
It seems that in my configuration, the filter runs on the CPU.
Is there a way to move the filter to the GPU ?
Pixel Bender filters when running in Flash Player 10 do not use the GPU.
