When I add a DOCTYPE to the html Flex creates, the SWF form shrinks to about 1/5th the browser size. How do I make the page properly (passes W3C validation) and have a full sized form/SWF?
BTW, with the loosest DOCTYPE you end up with 17 errors and some warnings. With a middle DOCTYPE you get 96 errors and 39 warnings. I didn't have the nerve to try it with a strick DOCTYPE.
I should have mentioned that I display the page in Tomcat using FF as the browser.
If I remove the DOCTYPE, the SWF file goes to the normal size.
This problem doesn't happen in IE, (at least 6) BTW.
I tried the Flex application in Firefox 3.5 and had the same problem. Someone told me that the problem might be the invocation method Flex uses (AC_FL_RunContent) and that SWFObjects2 would be better. Anyone agree or disagree?
