Hi,

Wondered if anyone is having similar issues or might even have a fix.

I have this error whenever I open a cfc, cfm file :

(Build 1.5.0.25222) [ERROR] (Build 1.5.0.25222) [ERROR] Unable to create Firefox browser control

XPCOM error -2147467259

This error appeared with all configurations below:
CFB standalone
CFB on top FB4 (same error & made a mess, uninstaller doesn't work so it's all good fun ...)
CFB on eclipse 3.4.2 (same error)
I'm on OSX 1.5.7, Safari 402, FF 3.5, eclipse 3.4.2 with updates & FB4 plugin & CFB plugin.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I get the same thing.  It's a known issue that Firefox won't work on OSX.  So what I did was turned it off in the global preferences settings so the error won't come up anymore.

You say that you turned "it" off. What is it?

The setting to tell Eclipse which browser will be used for HTML preview.  It's found in Preferences -> HTML -> Editors -> HTML -> Preview.  Uncheck Firefox and the errors goes away.
