    browseForOpen() to open file with native app

      function doBrowse(inDir)
      var dir = inDir;
      var selectedDir = new air.File();
      selectedDir.nativePath = dir;

      the above function is called upon an onclick event.

      basically i pass the directory path as a string to the function. the function then takes the string and uses it to open a browse window to that specific directory path. this works flawlessly. what i want to be able to happen is that when a user selects a file from the browse window he can open that file with its corresponding native application. simple example, select a Word document, open that document in Word, or select a PDF document open that document in Adobe Reader. how can i get this to happen???
