I'm trying to build a product comparison grid; the first column will have headings for the comparison data (name, size, weight, price, etc.) and the remaining three columns will have the corresponding data for each of the three products being compared. Different types of products will compare different types of data - some types of products will have a lot of data to compare, so it is critical that the data gets displayed vertically.
It feels like the datagrid should be a natural choice for this kind of display. However, I can't figure out how to get the data headers to run vertically rather than the default horizontal layout. Am I missing something obvious, or does the datagrid just not support this kind of layout? Are custom itemrenderers the key? Should I be considering an entirely different approach?
