Oh, It seems that server is still alive, because it can still works on my friend's computer who is in another net environment.
But all computers in my company can't be connect to that server now. which always say:
Connecting to rtmfp://stratus.adobe.com
NetConnection event: NetConnection.Connect.Failed
Unable to connect to rtmfp://stratus.adobe.com
Can anybody help me? How to solve this problem? If I use stratus service too many times, will Adobe deny my IP visit?
Thanks very much!
Stratus currently has no connection limit nor a "you tried to connect too many times" limit.
if there's a significant delay (90 seconds) before getting this error, then most likely your company's firewall is entirely blocking UDP network traffic, which RTMFP requires.
if you get this error immediately, you are probably using an incorrect developer key, or using your developer key incorrectly. you combine your developer key with Stratus's name as follows (assuming your developer key is "1234-5678"):
this is detailed on the developer key signup page.
Is there any possibility that adobe is going to release rtmfp protocol details? What if a client wants to host a custom rmtfp server. It would be great if we could write a custom simple java server, convincing people buy FMS for just serving the keys would be quite a task.
