CFGRID Applet Not Loading (Java Error)

    Adobe Forums User Level 1

I'm running ColdFusion 5.0 and cannot get a CFGRID Java applet to load.

Here is the error I am receiving:

java.lang.ClassFormatError: Incompatible magic value 537725453 in class file allaire/controls2/CFGridApplet
      at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)

      at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source)
      at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
Exception: java.lang.ClassFormatError: Incompatible magic value 537725453 in class file allaire/controls2/CFGridApplet

Is this something on my side, the client, or the server?

I updated my workstation to the latest release of Java, but get the same error.

It should be noted that I only have one other Java applet on our website, a tag that generates CAPTCHAs, and it's working fine.
