On my web application, there is an ability to print a pdf document that is a compilation of 3 pdf docs. I've had complaint and have heard reports that on certain computers, parts of the pdf print out as, what can best be described as, jibberish. When looking at the properties of the three different docs, the one that is printing out with issues differs in only one respect, the pdf producer. While the two that always work have the producer Distiller, the one that doesn't always work has the producer: gpl ghostscript 8.61. One example is it prints jibberish from an XP machine via Firefox. Does anyone know why this might happen? Thanks!
There obviously a problem with the pdfs created by Ghostscript. You might go to try to find a forum that supports Ghostscript for help. It isn't an Adobe product.
