I created this mock project for a book cover in class two years ago, and I finally just recently stumbled upon it again. It was back in 2007 when I was using CS2 (and I am now using CS3), but I have no clue as to how exactly I did it. I'm guessing something with the grid tool, perhaps warping it or something? But I've been playing with it for a while and can't seem to achieve the same effect. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I might be able to recreate this again, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!
You likely drew a curve, set the stroke with a dash, reflected a copy, blended the two.
But you're a student! Young, bright, with a rapier memory! How soon you forget!
Hmm. There are a few ways to do this. You could create two lines and use blend or create one line and use Transform. Then apply Envelope distort and use the fish preset. And i am sure there are other ways to do this as well.
Now, I hope this is not a project you are doing for school cause I will be mad at you for giving you the answer.
