Unfortunately you do not have a FireWire/IEEE1394 interface on that camera so you cannot use Adobe OnLocation which was part of CS3. But you do have an HDMI output that if you invested in a BlackMagic Intensity you should be able to capture directly from your camera to a computer. Never having used this device I do not know if it simultaneously allows viewing but you might check this out as a solution. It probably does not "record directly" into Premiere, but it does record to your computer
that really sucks, should i so, 'damn you SONY', why didnt they provide firewire? i hope it wasnt b/c they only think low-end consumers will buy it.
lol, if not sony or canon. i would have went with RED Cameras.
film cameras are expensive right? i have no idea how much they cost
why didnt they provide firewire?
It's really not necessary with AVCHD.
i hope it wasnt b/c they only think low-end consumers will buy it.
C'mon. Do you really see a true professional ever using that thing?
