When I encode to wmv files the the movie changes like the brightness is pushed up. It looks like there is some kind of mist over the image. You can get that effect when you raise the brightness from a picture in photoshop. It is impossible to publish high quality movies like this.
I render already years movies into wmv, never happend.
It happends with Adobe CS4 media encoder, but I downloaded also microsoft windows media encoder and there it happends also. I took some old movies to see if it does not come from avi rendered by Premiere CS4, but also with old files who are edited with old premiere versions, it happends. These old movies where perfectely rendered in the past with other software.
I use Matrox, maybe there is the problem
Does anybody has an idea?
Thanks in advance....
I can't tell you why it's happoening. But I can suggest a better way. Just don't use WMVs. They've become largely irrelevant these days. For computer playback, use H.264 or plain vanilla MPEG2. For web video, use Flash.
