i'm trying to setup an animated graphic symbol to loop from frames 11 to its last frame using the loop parameter native to graphic symbols. despite selecting the options "loop" and first "11," it continues looping from the first frame to the last. this is true also when i set it to "play once." setting it to "single frame" causes my instance to disappear and the animation to still loop. i can accomplish my goal by using actionscript to tell it to gotoAndPlay(11); on the the last frame, but it seems this would be an easier method (if it works).
main timeline: stops on first frame
movie clip timeline (containing graphic symbol): 1-30 frames (loops through)
flash version: cs4
settings: flash player 8 & actionscript 2.0
It sounds like you're spending alot of time trying to solve a problem you have an easy solution to already.
