    Color change in PDF

      Hi,

I have multi-page layout in InDesign CS3, that is exported as pdf in [High Quality Print] settings.

The colors are in CMYK mode.

The indesign file has a background gradient set in the master page.

      The issue:

The exported PDF file, when opened, changes the background image color to a different type of blue, than the one in the InDesign document.

PLEASE NOTE: this does not happen always. Majority of times when the PDF is opened, the actual color given in the InDesign document is shown.

What is the reason for this change of colors (each time it is opened).

I previously posted this issue in InDesign forum, where I was said that it seems to be Acrobat issue. Therefore I am posting here.

      Thanks in advance

Well this is the Reader forum. You cannot check colors using Reader. Are you using Acrobat? If so, you will want to ask in the Acrobat forum for your OS. Good luck.
