My project is completely finished, but when I went to watch the playback on my flat screen I am getting "trails." In other words say the actor is walking across the screen, his image seems to have a trail of himself following him making playback annoying and dizzy to watch.
It does not do that on playback on my computer just on televisions.
I am using Premiere 2.0
Does anybody have any suggestion? I have to send out my project by tomorrow- August 4th!
My general recommendation is to watch standard definition material (DVD) only on SD CRT sets. The corollary is to watch only HD media (Blu-ray) on high definition sets.
Mixing the two often results in a less than ideal viewing experience.
How is your set-top player set to uprez for the HD output? It is possible that you can make the adjustment there, as some have a couple of possible modes.
As Jim points out, feeding an SD source to an HD display (through an up-rezing player) can be problematic.
One thing to check, back in the authoring stage would be the bit-rate that you chose for the Transcode. That can have some impact too, though the results are usually different, than what you describe.
