I'm using Premiere Pro CS3 in Windows XP, SP3. In each new project, when Exporting a frame or movie, Premiere defaults to adding the export to the project. I don't want to do this, and so must manually open the Settings window and uncheck the appropriate box. For a movie, Premiere also defaults to exporting the entire timeline, so I must manually set it if I want to only export the Work Area.
Is there a way to set these preferences the way I want them so that Premiere will remember them for each new project?
The best you can do is maybe to create a project template with those desired settings. Then start each new project in that template and do a Save As... It's the only way those settings might possibly stick.
Thank you Jim.
You get a "correct answer" because that's how it is, no matter what I might wish. You would think that somewhere there would be the equivalent of a .ini file (gad, does that date me or what?) where such things could be tweaked.
