If you call Customer Service re installations, they should be able to deactivate and reissue number. Have you resolved problem?
I had a problem:
First Customer Service representative kept repeating instructions to Deactivate product from Windows Programs Control Panel Menu (I then asked to be transfered to someone who could help me with my situation), then she hung up on me.
Second Customer Service Rep transfered me to Technical Support where I waited 3 hours before hanging up. I was finally actually able to have this handled the third time.
I was thoroughly disatisfied with my experience with Adobe.
I am the OP. I got this resolved very quickly by cust service and was impressed by Adobe. The whole process took less than10 minutes.
