We are likely to be asked by a client to ensure that all created PDFs are compatible with PDF/A standards. After a bit of googling to find out about this it appears that updates have been applied to Acrobat 8 to ensure this is possible. As we have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended I assume that it is automatically part of this.
What I am less sure about is what has to be done inside Acrobat (if anything) to produce PDF/A standard files. Is it just a case of PDFing as normal and the standard is automatically built in?
