I wonder if anyone can help me with this. I have the Adobe Media Encoder as part of Web Premium CS4. In the Format menu there are only two formats showing FLV and F4V. I have seen additional formats on other computers and don't know why they are missing from my copy.
Anyone any ideas or tips on how to install them. I am running Windows Vista.
I believe that when installed as part of the web premium and design premium the Adobe media encoder is only intended to convert video into Flash Video and H.264 video. To transcode into a wider range of formats requires the you have the Production Premium or Master Collection installed, since it serves as the rendering program for Premiere Pro files.
Either that or you could try downloading the latest updates.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I suspected that may be the reason. I have downloaded the latest update but that didn't add any additional format.
