      Is it possible to do a no-scroll background in Flex? Sorry for not being more verbose, but that's pretty much it. How do you do a no-scroll background in Flex? Thanks in advance!

          I figured it out. If anyone is interested, here's the code:

          <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
          <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute" width="1800" backgroundGradientAlphas="[1.0, 1.0]" backgroundGradientColors="[#FFFFFF, #FFFFFF]">
               <mx:Canvas width="1800" height="1023" y="0" backgroundImage="@Embed(source='../assets/background_16.jpg')" backgroundAttachment="fixed" right="200">
                    <mx:Canvas x="196" y="8" width="1596" height="1768">
                         <mx:HBox x="248" y="296" width="600" height="1000" backgroundColor="#FF0000">
                         </mx:HBox>
                    </mx:Canvas>
               </mx:Canvas>
          </mx:Application>
