To prevent a user from printing you can set up password security using Acrobat. This can easily be overcome with 3rd party utilities. You cannot stop anyone from saving a file. Ifs it on their computer or on the internet it can be saved (right-click on a url to save from a web browser). To prevent its unintended use and/or printing you need to invest in Digital Rights Management.
Thx for the feedback. Actually i want to block the user from doing anything except read the PDF. No printing, saving, etc... I can block all the right click, and key short cut thru GPO.
This article is showing how to remove the tool bar.
Does this really work - by just placing some JS inside the Reader folder ? Am i missing something ?
