can you make your component visible only when creationComplete event fires?
I am sorry, I dont quite get it, can you elaborate further. Are you asking me whether I can make visibile the component when - creationComplete event of the ParentDocument or in the Player component .
Whole point is when I make the transition to PlayerView. The player component should be visible to the user as a whole and not like Control bar is immediatley seen and then with a jerk/flicker player screen child component appears. Currently the latter is happening.
If there is something unlcear in my question above, please let me know.

creationcomplete of the component.
one more issue:
you may have to change your component too.
set visibility of the controllbar subcomponent only in the eventhandler of creationComplete Event of the screen subcomponent.
I get it now, what you are saying. And I made both the subcomponents to be visible under the creationComplete event. But the problem still persists. that jerk view of player screen is still there. I dont know what am doing wrong. Earlier I was using viewStacks , and then I wasnt experiencing this problem. but now I have switched to state transitions, and so the present problem perhaps.
maybe I should try using 'effects' to ease out transitions, if you have any other ideas please let me know
thank you for your help
using effects may provide some visual illusions over the jerk view problem, but if you are allowed to use transition effects.
