    AdvancedDataGrid Grouping

    GeorgeWS Level 1

      I am doing this and my folders and totals to the right work perfect:

      <mx:AdvancedDataGrid

      id="adg" width="100%" height="100%" themeColor="#73B9B9"

      >

      <mx:dataProvider>

      <mx:GroupingCollection id="gc" source="{myWine}"

      >

      <mx:Grouping>

      <mx:GroupingField name="myHeader"

      >

      <mx:SummaryRow summaryPlacement="group"

      >

      <mx:fields>

      <mx:SummaryField dataField="myList" operation="SUM" label="myTotal"

      />

      </mx:fields>

      </mx:SummaryRow>

      </mx:GroupingField>

      </mx:Grouping>

      </mx:GroupingCollection>

      </mx:dataProvider>

      <mx:groupedColumns>

      <mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn dataField="CMPT2W" headerText="Item" minWidth="175"

      />

      <mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn dataField="DESCRIP" headerText="Desc"

      />

      <mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn dataField="myList" headerText="List" width="60" textAlign="right" />

      <mx:AdvancedDataGridColumn dataField="myTotal" headerText="Cost" width="60" textAlign="right" itemRenderer="NumberItemRenderer"

      /></mx:AdvancedDataGridColumnGroup>

      </mx:groupedColumns>

      </mx:AdvancedDataGrid>

      I want to put one more thing right next to the "myHeader" column, if I put a second SummaryField Like:

      <mx:fields>

      <mx:SummaryField dataField="myList" operation="SUM" label="myTotal"

      />

      <mx:SummaryField dataField="myList" operation="SUM" label="myTotal"

      />

      </mx:fields>

      The space I want next to the folders perfect! except I do not want a sum or anything just good old plain words.

      Is there something else I can use in that spot to display text?

      Thanks

      George
