    Text justify

    Ehab SD
      Hi guys,
Does anybody know how to justify a block of text in Fireworks CS3 without having the last line of words horribly stretched out ? I've tried all the different settings I could find but I always get the letters in that last line of text in the paragraph spaced out way too much. Thanks in advance :)

Isn't that what justifying does? Spreads each line out evenly from left to
right? Have you tried adjusting the text size or box width to eliminate the
          last short line?

          Aloha,

true, i justify because i want a clean, solid looking block of text with no edges left or right, but the letters of the words in the last line is what gets spaced out as opposed to the whole words. i figured out a little hack though that fixes it, you just hit the spacebar after that last word in the paragraph and enter as many spaces as needed to make it all look alright again.

You are using this on a web page? Why use an image at all? That's usually
              the worst way.

No no, this is just for a web page mockup. For the actual web page I'm going to use CSS to justify it, which shouldn't give me any problems at all. I was just trying to make it look the same in Fireworks.

You will create trouble for yourself by doing this, honestly. You can NEVER
make text in HTML look like text in a graphic.

Why do you think so? And why would you reply to a message that was posted
                      in July of 2008?

                        Hi
I have had the same problem. I came up with a way to get around it:
At the end of the last line, fill the entire rest of line with periods. When you are done, highlight the extra periods and make them white (or your background color)
