Flash has no native capablility to write an xml file and save it to a server, so you have to do this in two parts. You will need a server based php or perl script that you can send the data to. In Flash, you will use a method just like an email form. You will take the content of the input textfied(s) and send them to the php or perl script. The difference is that the php or perl app will write an xml file rather than forwarding the data as an email.
You'll have to look elsewhere to find a php or perl script to do the server side work. You might try:
You might also look at your hosting service, they may already have a pretty robust perl and/or php library installed that you can use.
ok tanx but as i said i know about the php or asp.net serverside script what about action script what action code shuld be wrriten for the buttons click event so it transfers the data to that serverside script???
Look at the example code in the online help for LoadVars.sendAndLoad() . In there you will find an example that uses the text from a textInput textfield. There is also another example in the ActionScript samples folder that came with Flash. It is listed in this same help article.
Thanks ill take a look
