Hey everyone.

I'm trying to convert some BMP or JPEGs into a nice vector. I've been reading around and it seems like auto trace is the function I want however I'm unable to find that tool in Illustrator. Can anyone help guide me to where this tool might be a maybe a quick overview/tutorial on how it works or an external tutorial?

When you select the JPG or BMP your should get a Live Trace button in your menu bar just the the left of a disclosure triangle which contains all the presets for live trace.
