I received the same message when I installed. I thought that the installer was perhaps corrupted. I installed on an HP dv7 laptop running Windows Vista. Have you had any answers about the problem? I have run the installer for FlashPaper2 on another machine over a month ago and had no problems. Don't know if the installer was updated afterwards or not. Were you able to find out an answer to the problem?
I tried to run FlashPaper 2 but got the same error issues. Do you need the Contribute software on your PC? The Printer Driver doesn't work, either. I'm not sure if Vista is supported.
I have admin rights etc.
Running Flashplayer 10
Can not find a solution.
I also tried to run it in XP compatability mode, but no luck. I called Adobe Tech Support today. I was put on hold and never connected. I waited 30 minutes, without any idea the duration of the wait.
I also have looked int oother website services/programs that perform what FlashPaper 2 does, however in a more creative way. The fees that are charged range from $400 and up (way up). Most of the websites do not permit you to have the file(s). They reside on a separate server allowing you to link to it, but that's it.
Anyone have any other options?
I ran into the same problem and after doing som searching
for the problem I found som info on it.
This is a Vista issue as far as I can tell (I can see that the original poster also
has Vista on the screenshots). FlashPaper does not support Vista yet, not sure if it will either.

Too bad Vista isn't supported as I would have bought the product otherwise. Not sure
If I can get hold of a machine running XP :-(
Is this all we are able to find? It would seem that Win 7 is also prone to this error and even compatibility and other options do nothing to get around it.
I received the same error when switching to XP...
How to install FlashPaper2 on Windows 7
I've wrote the solution here:
This required using Microsoft's Windows Print Migrator 3.1 and exporting a working WinXP FlashPaper2 printer to a .cab file
Step 1: Uninstall FlashPaper2, if applicable
Step 2: Run uninstall_flash_player.exe
Low Trust Users: Download latest @ http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe
Step 3: Run FlashPaper2Installer.exe
Low Trust Users: Download latest trial @ https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=flashpaper
Step 4: Run printmig.exe
Low Trust Users: Download @ http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/5/2/452d431e-5a5c-43bd-b398-6fc27208e001/printmig .exe
Step 5: Load FlashPaper2.cab @ http://sites.google.com/a/imustknowsomething.com/flashpaper2-windows7/FlashPaper2.cab
(Low Trust Users create your own on a XP machine w/ successful FlashPaper2 install using printmig.exe via Actions > Backup...)
Click Actions, or press Alt + A
Click Restore..., or press R
Locate FlashPaper2.cab, click Open
Wait for process to complete...
Step 6: Open Devices and Printers
Right-click "Macromedia FlashPaper", select Printer Properties
Click on the Ports tab
Verify the FlashPaper port is checked.
Verify the "Macromedia FlashPaper" printer is online.
You're good to GO!
