I may have asked this before, but when you get over 30, you'll understand.
I have a laptop that I use frequently, that has to run CS2 rather than CS4 (partly because of the Adobe limit on # of CS4 machines) and wonder if it is somehow possible to get some "essentials" out of the CS4 project that can be used in CS2.

Essentially, the answer is NO. You can of course use the same original material that you captured.
You can always export out of CS4 for use in 2.0. This will, of course, preclude further editing of those assets in 2.0.
