I'm will start to apologize for my English, I'm from Denmark, but I hope you will understand my question.
I'm trying to edit HD video (1440 × 1080, 16:9, 25 fps, 13.00 Mbps), on my Imac (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM), and it is not happy about it.
So I thought; is it possible to make a lower resolution clip for editing, and then when I'm finished, make Premiere Pro use the HD version while making the DVD/Blu-ray?
Hope you understand my question.
I forget to say, i'm using CS4.
There is no proxy editing in CS4, but IIRC there is some workaround. Do a search.
