    Help with Audio

      how can I import audio from my mini disc recorder to my computer and from there into premiere elements 7 ?

          Use the free audio program Audacity to record the audio, cabling from your player's headphone jack into your computer's audio or microphone input.

           

          Save the file as a WAV file with Audacity, and import that into a Premiere Elements project.

            Also, from Audacity, set the properties of the Exported/Saved PCM/WAV to 48KHz 16-bit (commonly called 48/16), so that PrE does not have to convert it, yet again. It will generate .PEK files, as these are the Waveform Display files used by PrE to, well, display the Waveform.
