About chapter index, etc. (Multiple questions part 2)

My main concern about creating chapter index is for the user to be able to see a popup menu of the chapters of the DVD when played in a PC so he can directly select the chapter he wants to play. (Is there also a popup menu or something like that in DVD player interface?). If I create a chapter index, will it serve the purpose? Is there a manual step-by-step method in doing this other than Encore's Create Chapter Index menu command?

My next question has to be in Audio Handling. I just want to have a deeper explanation regarding "tight-looping" in the thread created by uxdesignpro entitled Continuous audio over multiple submenus.

I believe all DVD player software will behave essentially the same as DVD player hardware.  Menus will not "pop up" like they can with Blu-ray.  If you go to a chapter menu, it'll be the only thing you see, just like any Hollywood DVD.

For a pop-up menu experience, you'd need to create a Flash project.  (Meaning a project in the Flash program, not a Flash output from Encore.)
