When creating a new TextField dinamically, is there a property that automatically adjusts the width to the content or is it always necessary to have txt_field.width = ...?
my text field:
txt_field = new TextField();
txt_field.text = source;
I think if you get rid of the line indicating wordWrap = true, it will allow the line to extend as needed. Otherwise, I think that including it leads to wrapping to some default width.
Apparently WordRap and Multiline are very similer properties. The outcome is similar in both cases.
"If the value of
true, the text field has word wrap"
Multiline "Indicates whether the text field is a multiline text field. If the value is
true, the text field is multiline;"
