I'm streaming video from a http address and it won't show up
in the browser (everything works fine when testing in Flash). Must
be a security issue but which one? I'm using
System.security.allowDomain but no go. Do I need a crossdomain file
on the server? Flash Player 7 by the way. Anyone?
Possibly. The flv's reside on a server hosted by a media
agency (not a Media Server) and I'm guessing they don't have much
experience (they wanted to use mpeg...). Their advice was to use
System.security.allowDomain but that solves communication between
swf's. I've asked them to put a cross domain policy file on the
server so I'm going to test that after the weekend. And I'll
install fiddler to see if I get a 404 error on the policy file in
the mean time...
Thanks for your answer.
