I have just bought Premiere Elements 7.0 and am trying to blur a face in a video, (as you see in police shows!). The face moves around a lot throughout the video so it will be necessary to track it pretty comprehensively. Is there a way of doing this? I am an absolute beginner with this so please assume no prior understanding of the software at all - every time you use any kind of technical term please explain it - I have seen other forums where contributors say "and then all you have to do is add key frames" - I would need this explained too. Sorry for my lack of understanding - I appreciate any help
Never mind - I seem to have figured it out - thanks to anyone who read the post.
This TUTORIAL will give you the full instructions on doing what you want to do. It was done for PrPro, but will translate perfectly to PrE. Instead of "softening the skin tones," just imagine that you are blurring the full face.
PS Curt Wrigley is also the author of the last two Classroom in a Book for PrPro (CS3 & CS4).
