the easiest class to use is the color class to change color. you can also use the colortransform class.
For Sure If You Say , But How , I Am A NOOB
Can You Explain More , Thanks
var c:Color=new Color(yourmc); // create a color instance for yourmc
c.setRGB(0xff0000); // assign 0xff0000 to yourmc's color instance c
The only problem with setRGB() is that it makes everything the exact same color. So if you want different hues in your transformed clips you will need to look into the setTransform() method of the color class.
The only problem with setTransform() is that it is really confusing! Look it up in the help files to see all the moving pieces it has. Basically it mirrors the advanced color properties that you can apply in the authoring environment. So I often create a clip, put it on the stage and then play with the advanced color properties to figure out what types of numbers I need for it.
