In older versions of Premiere, I used to be able to zoom in and out,
and know how much one frame icon on the timeline represented:
1 second, ½ second, 1 frame, 10 seconds, whatever.
It was handy for setting rubber band audio fades, etc.
In CS4, I can't really tell easily how to make a one second fade, etc.
I know I can look at the timeline ruler up top, but it's not as easy to gauge.
Am I missing something? Any suggestions?
You're not missing anything. The timeline zoom level indication simply disappeared when Premiere went Pro.
For fades, I personally find it much easier to add the effect, rather then trying to keyframe the clip.
